MOVIE SYNOPSIS: Recount of the formation of Rafael Cancel Miranda during his childhood and youth under the tutelage of Mr. Pedro Albizu Campos and his father, Rafael Cancel Rodríguez, president of the Mayagüez Nationalist Board of the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party. There are dramatized recreations and interviews with people close to Rafael such as his wife María de los Ángeles Vázquez, his son Rafael Cancel Vázquez and one of his fellow fighters, former political prisoner Oscar López Rivera. There is also footage of historical events.
