MOVIE SYNOPSIS: In the mid-18th century, the Danish King Frederik V declared that the wild heaths of Jutland must be cultivated and settled so that civilization could spread and new taxes would be generated for the royal house. In 1755, Captain Ludvig Kahlen prepared to create a colony in the name of the king. However, the sole ruler of the area, the ruthless Frederik of Schinkel, believes that the land belongs to him.
