MOVIE SYNOPSIS: 1900, Northern Germany. Paula is 24 years old and she has an insatiable need for liberty, glory, the right to enjoy her body, and most of all, to paint. Unfortunately, extremely ahead of her time, she struggles against societal frameworks and social constructs regarding how and what a woman should be.
